Accidental Death &Dismemberment

AD&D
This benefit provides coveragefor death or dismemberment resulting directly from accidental causes; also, benefits in the event of loss of life, limbs or eyesight as the result of an accident (this benefit is also referred to as Double Indemnity).

Coverage Amounts
AD&D coverage and the benefits maximum amounts will match the Basic Life Insurance Benefit. Each insurer specifies their table of losses; this table outlines the benefit amount payable for types of losses (for example: three quarters of the principle sum for loss of one arm or one leg). This table of losses will appear in your insurance contract for reference at any time.
